sassholes: Near Death...

Glad you are ok my friend, but you are SO right that you just never know when your time is going to come. I've always approached life in this way and when people ask me why I'm happy all the time this is exactly why. Always have to push forward, enjoy what you are doing and live every moment to the fullest.

If you had died listening to Accident Hash I would have felt damn guilty! Please don't do that! *grin*

Yes, we MUST be a happy all the time. It is a choice we have and it is always in our control! Always look forward, only look back to learn. Couldn't agree more. I promise I will only listen to Accident Hash in a padded room, with no chance of Accident Hash causing an Accident! I'd hate to be the cause of your guilt! ;-)

I had a very similar experience on a wet night in NYC. One second I was walking across an empty crosswalk and the next I was on the hood of a cab all the way up by the windshield. I remember the quick anger, and lingering sick feeling and shakes after I returned to my hotel.

    You point is exactly right.

Wow. Glad YOU are ok. I didn't get hit, but came about as close as I could without the Truck connecting with my bones. It is startling, and makes you realize what "might" have happened. Thanks for the comment!

Man, that's scary. Confusion over the right of way has got to be one of the biggest causes of accidents and road rage out there. I remember when I was first learning to drive and the utter bile and vitriol that spilled out of me the first time I had a near miss with another car. Most of it was over the realization that someone had just tried to kill me. Thankfully I eventually managed to get it through my head that killing me hadn't been in their plans that day. :)
